What A Week!

Well, considering that I have been blog MIA for about a week now there is lots to catch up on. Starting with last thursday night. Chi O and Phi Mu hosted a date part at Quixotes. The theme... Redneck Wedding. needless to say it was amazing, the trashiness in everyone came out.

The group at "The Play House"

There are no words...

After an eventful night of tastefully tacky fun, friday morning 830 class came really early... the tweets that surfaced on friday were unbelievably funny. The jist basically being that red neck wedding kick serious ass.

Friday afternoon something new started. about twenty of the senior chi o pledge class piled into cars and made the trip to Destin, Fl. Expecting a sunny saturday and sun bathing, the rains kept coming... slight disappointment set in but there was dispite the lack of sunshine there was definitely no shortness of fun.
After an uneventful but relaxing friday night, we found alot to get into in Baytowne. We started out at a bar called The Village Door. There was a good band but the highlight of that location was the gang of asians we ran into... yes, a massive group of asians... it was awesome. There were also a couple of drunk older ladies thrown into the mix...

The one to the far right in the blue could dust a move and definitly let us know... And, I know what your thinking... peace signs... oh yes they did it.
Later that night we ventured to another place called The funky Blue Shack where we also started the party... so many funnies stories but the one major thing that happened was some hang out time with American Idol winner Taylor Hicks, who happens to be an Auburn Grad. he got up and sang a few songs, including Bullet Proof... yes.. very entertaining but a shout out to the Chi O's was the best part.

This is such a long post due to the crazy week. after a great weekend and the trip back to auburn, a big group of the pledge class, thanks to Emily Collins, get together at Sip and Strokes. Sips and strokes a great place in auburn. You can bring your own wine and a leader takes your step by step through a painting. We, of course, painted owl. That was a given. Some did more sipping than stroking.. i.e. Lee Anne Bradshaw. But all in all we had a great time.

This is the whole group with our beautiful owl paintings

The Roommates with our pretty pretty owls... you can't see it in the picture but Lee Anne's owl has a lightening bolt on its forehead... got to love the Harry Potter reference.

Anyway, aside from all the fun in the past week tomorrow is friday... which means the next day is saturday... I know you're impressed with my extensive knowledge of the days of the week but my point is saturday is GAMEDAYYYYY!!! The first auburn football game of the season! So excited... expect a recap!

Today is Carolline and Taylor Sunday's BIRTHDAYYYYYY!! After traveling to Atlanta for a furniture trade show and competition we have just finished breakfast dinner, or Brinner, if you will. :Lee Anne masterfully handled the pancakes... kind of wish we had taken pictures. I took care of the bacon and Ally cleaned!!! On the whole.... very successful!

This is the website for the International Woodworking Fair. Every year students from all over enter peices of furniture and several Auburn students were finalists. At the end of this semester we will be entering peices into the same competition. Intimidating? I think so.
